There are numerous football clubs being led by Mr Openshaw and Mr Perkins throughout the year for all age groups from year 1 to years 6.

Lunchtime football clubs are a way to encourage a large number of our pupils to experience playing football in a fun environment. In KS2 each year group has 2 lunchtime slots to play games and showcase their skills.

Our after school football programme is aimed specifically at the competitions we enter throughout the year with our Year 5 and 6 pupils taking part in the Coventry schools football league along with cup competitions. Year 3 and 4 children will get the chance to take part in the school games 5-a-side football competition.

With the success of the Lioness’s European Cup win in the summer, girls’ football has grown further, allowing more girls to take part in football, inspiring the next generation. There are lots of opportunities through the school games partnership to allow girls to access competitive football.

We have recently teamed up with Whitley Juniors Football Club, giving children the opportunity to go and further their passion for football outside of school clubs.
