Tag rugby has become a very popular sport within the school with a lot of children being introduced to the game. Our clubs are a good way to introduce a large number of children to the game of rugby. With the recent arrival of “Wasps” in the city there is a real buzz around the sport.
Tag Rugby is led by Coventry Rugby. With Tag Rugby has become very popular sport within school, with children being introduced to the sport from Year 1. The children learn the skills, techniques and rules of the sport. Alongside lessons, clubs are a good way to introduce children to the game in a safe and fun environment.
The Tag Rugby sessions are fun and give the children the chance to learn the fundamentals and core values of rugby. Tag rugby teams, of different age groups, will take part in competitions and festivals.
The school has strong links with clubs within the area, allowing children to develop their skills further and experience the sport of rugby in a club environment.
